We made it through the first exciting day. [If you're impatient, scroll down for photos. :) ]
Bobo came back to our room (suite?) with us and is now resting after all the excitement. I can't say the same for the kids yet, but hopefully it should be a lot earlier than last night.
Amelia (as expected) showed very little interest in Bobo when he was introduced, and quickly wandered off to go back to what she'd been doing. E5 also wasn't entirely impressed, and Owen was asleep. So Lori and I got to bond with Bobo a little bit ourselves.
Amelia avoided stepping on any tails, but she did sample some dog food and drink somebody else's unattended beverage. With 13 families and 13 dogs in one room (and dozens of crated dogs in the next room over), you can start to imagine the level of chaos.
Amelia's been interacting with Bobo in very minor ways already since we got back to the room. She's stolen quite a few glances, touched him a few times, grabbed a handful of fur once, and tried to climb on him once while getting into the bed. That's more than I expected for the first day.
